Oven & Stove Repair in Metro Atlanta

Ovens fail in predictable ways: an element, an igniter or a temperature sensor. We test the actual component rather than guessing — so you pay to fix what's broken, not to replace what isn't.

Gas smell? Don't call us first. Leave the house, then call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Once it's safe, we'll handle the repair.

01

Problems we fix

If your oven & stove is doing any of these, we've seen it before — and we carry the parts.

Oven won't heat at all

Usually the bake element or, on a gas oven, the igniter. Both are testable in minutes with a multimeter.

Bakes unevenly, or burns on one side

Almost always the temperature sensor drifting out of calibration, or a partially failed element.

Won't hold its temperature

A failing temperature sensor or thermostat. Your oven says 350°F and delivers 290°F.

Gas burner clicks but won't light

A dirty or cracked spark electrode, or a failed spark module. Usually a quick fix.

Electric burner won't heat

The element, the receptacle it plugs into, or the infinite switch behind the knob.

Control board showing an error code

We read the code, confirm the fault, and replace only what's actually failed.

Oven door won't close or shut properly

Failed hinges or a hardened door gasket — it's also why your kitchen is getting hot.

Self-clean cycle left the oven locked

A stuck door lock motor or a control fault after a self-clean overheat.

What it costs

We won't put a number on this page — nobody can price a repair honestly without seeing the appliance. Here's exactly how the price gets set instead.

1

We diagnose before we quote

A price quoted over the phone, sight unseen, is a guess — and guesses have a way of growing once the technician is in your kitchen. Ours finds the actual fault first, testing components rather than assuming.

2

You get a firm price before we start

Once we know what's wrong, you get one clear number for the whole job — parts and labor together. Nothing happens until you've said yes.

3

The service call is free with any repair

Go ahead with the repair and the visit costs you nothing on top. Decide against it and a diagnostic fee may apply — but we tell you what that is before we come out, never after.

4

What actually drives the price on a oven & stove

Elements, igniters and temperature sensors are inexpensive. The control board is the one component that costs real money — and it's the part people most often assume has failed when it hasn't. We test before we replace.

04

Repair or replace?

The honest answer, not the profitable one.

Ranges and ovens are worth repairing far longer than most people assume. The cabinet, the cavity and the burners rarely fail — it's the consumable parts (elements, igniters, sensors) that do, and those are inexpensive. Unless the control board and multiple components have gone at once, repair almost always wins.

Either way, you'll know the price before we start. We diagnose first, quote second, and only work once you've said yes. The service call is free with any completed repair.

Oven & Stove repair questions

On an electric oven it's most often the bake element; on a gas oven, the igniter. Both are inexpensive parts, and both can be confirmed with a continuity test in a few minutes rather than guessed at.
Yes. Uneven or over-baking is usually the temperature sensor drifting, so the oven runs hotter than it reads. Replacing the sensor restores accurate temperatures.
Clicking without ignition means gas may be flowing without a flame. Turn the burner off. If you can smell gas, leave the house and call your gas utility from outside. If there's no gas smell, it's usually a dirty or cracked spark electrode and a straightforward repair.
Yes — gas, electric, dual-fuel, freestanding, slide-in and wall ovens, plus cooktops.
