1. Accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
2. What this website is
This site describes the appliance repair services we offer in the Metro Atlanta area, and lets you ask us for a quote. Submitting the form is a request to be contacted — it is not a booking, and it does not create a contract for repair work. A job only becomes a job once we have spoken with you and agreed to it.
3. We are an independent company
Moon Appliance Repair is an independent, family-owned appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any appliance manufacturer. We repair appliances made by many manufacturers, but we do not act on their behalf and we do not represent them.
Any manufacturer warranty on your appliance is a matter between you and that manufacturer. Work carried out by an independent repairer may, in some cases, affect a manufacturer's warranty. If your appliance is still under manufacturer warranty, tell us — we'll be straight with you about whether you should go to them instead.
4. Quotes, pricing and the service call
Any price shown or discussed before a technician has seen the appliance is an estimate, not a final price. We diagnose the appliance in person, then give you a clear, up-front quote before any repair work begins. You decide whether to go ahead.
The service call is free with any completed repair. If we diagnose the appliance and you choose not to proceed with the repair, a diagnostic fee may apply — we will tell you what it is before we come out.
Offers described on this site (for example, a free service call with a completed repair) may be changed or withdrawn at any time and cannot be combined unless we say so.
5. Our warranty
Completed repairs are backed by our 6-month warranty on parts and labor. If the same fault we repaired returns within that period, we will come back and put it right at no additional charge.
The warranty covers the specific repair we performed. It does not cover:
- A different fault, or a new fault that develops elsewhere in the appliance
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, power surges, pests, flooding, or work done by someone else after our visit
- Normal wear on consumable parts
- Appliances that were already at the end of their serviceable life and were repaired at your request after we advised otherwise
The full warranty terms are given to you in writing with your invoice, and those terms govern.
6. Scheduling and same-day service
We aim to offer same-day appointments across most of Metro Atlanta, and we schedule evening and weekend visits where we can. Same-day service depends on where you are, how full the schedule is, and when you call — it is an aim, not a guarantee.
7. Using the site properly
Please don't:
- Submit false information, or someone else's contact details, through our forms
- Use the site to send spam, or to attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it
- Scrape, copy or republish the site's content for commercial purposes without our permission
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
8. Our content
The text, photographs, layout, logo and design of this site belong to Moon Appliance Repair and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Everything else requires our written permission.
9. Third-party trademarks
We name appliance brands on this site solely to describe the appliances we repair. All product names, brand names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Their use on this site does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those owners.
10. Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We don't control those sites and we're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
11. Disclaimers
The information on this site — including our descriptions of common appliance faults and their likely causes — is general information, not a diagnosis. Every appliance and every home is different. Do not rely on this site to decide whether an appliance is safe to use.
If you smell gas, leave the building immediately and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not use switches, appliances or phones inside the building. Do not attempt to diagnose a gas leak yourself, and do not wait for us.
Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, water and moving parts. We do not encourage you to attempt repairs yourself, and we accept no responsibility if you do.
The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moon Appliance Repair is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website, or your reliance on information published on it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for the repair work we actually carry out — that is governed by our service agreement and our warranty — nor does it limit any liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
