Washer Repair in Metro Atlanta

Most washer faults trace back to three things: the drain pump, the door lock, or worn suspension. All three are repairable, and none of them mean you need a new machine.

A washer that's walking across the floor is damaging itself with every cycle. Stop using it and call — the longer it runs, the more it costs to fix.

01

Problems we fix

If your washer is doing any of these, we've seen it before — and we carry the parts.

Won't spin, clothes come out soaking

Usually the door lock switch, the drive belt, or a drain fault — the machine won't spin until it has drained.

Won't drain

The drain pump or a blockage in it. A sock or a coin is a surprisingly common culprit.

Shaking violently or walking across the floor

Worn shock absorbers or suspension rods, or failing drum bearings. Don't keep running it like this.

Leaking water

The door gasket on a front-loader, or a hose, pump seal or tub seal.

Stops mid-cycle

A control board fault, a failing water level (pressure) switch, or a door lock that's dropping out.

Door locked shut and won't open

A failed door lock assembly. We can open it and replace it.

Won't fill with water

The water inlet valve or clogged inlet screens.

Loud grinding or rumbling during spin

Drum bearings. Worth diagnosing early — it gets more expensive the longer it runs.

Parts we carry

What it costs

We won't put a number on this page — nobody can price a repair honestly without seeing the appliance. Here's exactly how the price gets set instead.

1

We diagnose before we quote

A price quoted over the phone, sight unseen, is a guess — and guesses have a way of growing once the technician is in your kitchen. Ours finds the actual fault first, testing components rather than assuming.

2

You get a firm price before we start

Once we know what's wrong, you get one clear number for the whole job — parts and labor together. Nothing happens until you've said yes.

3

The service call is free with any repair

Go ahead with the repair and the visit costs you nothing on top. Decide against it and a diagnostic fee may apply — but we tell you what that is before we come out, never after.

4

What actually drives the price on a washer

Pumps, belts, door locks and shock absorbers are all inexpensive parts. Drum bearings are the one genuinely big job — and if that's what you're facing, we'll tell you plainly rather than quietly running up the bill.

04

Repair or replace?

The honest answer, not the profitable one.

Front-loaders and top-loaders are both worth repairing in most cases — pumps, belts, door locks and shock absorbers are inexpensive parts. The one repair that gets close to the line is a full bearing replacement on an older machine, and we'll be straight with you about whether that's worth it.

Either way, you'll know the price before we start. We diagnose first, quote second, and only work once you've said yes. The service call is free with any completed repair.

Washer repair questions

Nine times out of ten it's one of three things: the door lock switch (the machine won't spin unless it believes the door is locked), a drainage fault (it won't spin until it has drained), or a worn drive belt. All are routine repairs.
Yes — that's worn suspension: shock absorbers or suspension rods. But keep using it and the vibration will damage the drum bearings, which is a much bigger job. It's worth catching early.
Almost always the drain pump, or something lodged in it. Coins, buttons and socks are the usual suspects. We clear it, test the pump, and replace it only if it's actually failed.
Yes, both — including high-efficiency and stacked laundry units from all major brands.
