Moon Appliance Repair ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, family-owned appliance repair company serving the Metro Atlanta area of Georgia. This policy applies to moonappliancerepair.com and to the information we collect when you contact us about a repair.
We are an independent service company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any appliance manufacturer.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our quote form or call us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address (optional)
- The appliance you need repaired and a description of the problem
- Your service address, if you book a visit
We only ask for what we need in order to call you back and carry out the repair.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically receive:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city level)
- Your browser type, device type and operating system
- The pages you viewed and how you arrived at the site (including the referring website)
- Advertising identifiers such as a Google Click Identifier (gclid) and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar), which tell us which advertisement or search brought you here
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment card details through this website. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or any special categories of sensitive personal information.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Contact you about the repair you asked about, and schedule a visit
- Diagnose the problem, quote the work and complete the repair
- Honor our warranty and respond to follow-up questions
- Understand which advertisements and search terms bring us customers, so we don't waste money on advertising that doesn't work
- Improve the website and our service
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse of our forms
- Meet our legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
4. Calls, texts and messages
When you give us your phone number through our form or by calling us, you are asking us to contact you about your repair. We may call or text you at that number about:
- Confirming or scheduling your appointment
- Letting you know the technician is on the way
- Following up about a completed repair or a warranty question
These are service messages about the repair you requested — not marketing. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying STOP to a text or by calling us at (470) 523-1606.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Necessary cookies — needed for the site and the quote form to work, including anti-spam protection.
- Attribution cookies — we store advertising parameters such as gclid and utm_* for up to 90 days, so that if you come back later and submit the form, we can still tell which advertisement brought you.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — we may use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager to measure how the site is used and how well our advertising performs.

6. Who we share information with
We share your information only with the service providers we need in order to run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Our web host, which stores the website and the messages sent through it
- Email and messaging providers, which deliver your enquiry to our team
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager), for website analytics and advertising measurement
- Cloudflare, for security, spam prevention and content delivery
- Our technicians, so they can carry out your repair
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where we need to in order to protect our rights, our people, or the safety of others.
7. How long we keep it
We keep repair enquiries and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, honor our warranty and meet our tax and legal obligations — typically several years. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Your choices and rights
You can, at any time:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
- Ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you
Just contact us using the details below and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy law; we will honor those where they apply to us.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricting access to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not ask for sensitive financial information through this website, which limits what is at risk.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults arranging appliance repairs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.
