01

Problems we fix

If your refrigerator is doing any of these, we've seen it before — and we carry the parts.

Not cooling, but the light still works

Almost always a sealed-system or airflow fault, not a dead fridge. Usually the evaporator fan, defrost system or start relay.

Freezer is cold, fridge is warm

The classic sign of a failed evaporator fan or a blocked defrost system — the cold air simply isn't reaching the fresh-food section.

Water pooling under or inside the fridge

Normally a clogged defrost drain or a cracked water line. Cheap to fix, expensive to ignore — it will reach your floor.

Ice maker stopped making ice

Water inlet valve, ice maker module or a frozen fill tube. We fix all three.

Running constantly and never shutting off

Dirty condenser coils, a failing thermistor or a door seal that no longer seals. It's quietly running up your power bill.

Loud buzzing, clicking or humming

Clicking every few minutes usually means the compressor start relay is failing — catch it before the compressor goes with it.

Frost building up inside

A defrost heater, thermostat or control board that has stopped cycling.

Food spoiling faster than it should

The fridge is holding above 40°F. Worth a diagnostic before it fails completely.

Parts we carry

Nearly every refrigerator repair we do comes down to one of these parts. Our vans carry them — which is why most jobs are finished on the first visit.

03

What it costs

We won't put a number on this page — nobody can price a repair honestly without seeing the appliance. Here's exactly how the price gets set instead.

1

We diagnose before we quote

A price quoted over the phone, sight unseen, is a guess — and guesses have a way of growing once the technician is in your kitchen. Ours finds the actual fault first, testing components rather than assuming.

2

You get a firm price before we start

Once we know what's wrong, you get one clear number for the whole job — parts and labor together. Nothing happens until you've said yes.

3

The service call is free with any repair

Go ahead with the repair and the visit costs you nothing on top. Decide against it and a diagnostic fee may apply — but we tell you what that is before we come out, never after.

4

What actually drives the price on a refrigerator

The single biggest factor is whether the fault sits inside the sealed system — the compressor and refrigerant — or outside it. The great majority don't. They're a fan, a relay, a valve or a heater, and those are inexpensive parts.

04

Repair or replace?

The honest answer, not the profitable one.

If your refrigerator is under about 10 years old, repair is almost always the cheaper call — most failures are a single component, not the whole unit. Where it gets closer is a failed compressor on an older fridge. We'll tell you honestly which side of that line you're on, and we won't push a repair that isn't worth it.

Either way, you'll know the price before we start. We diagnose first, quote second, and only work once you've said yes. The service call is free with any completed repair.

Refrigerator repair questions

That combination usually points to the evaporator fan or a blocked defrost system, not the compressor. Cold air is being made — it just isn't reaching the fresh-food compartment. It's a common repair and normally done in one visit.
Usually yes, if it's under roughly 10 years old. Most failures are a single part — a fan, a relay, a valve — not the whole appliance. We diagnose first and give you a clear price, so you can decide before any work starts.
Most take one to two hours. Our vans carry the parts that fail most often, so the majority of jobs are finished in a single visit.
It's usually a clogged defrost drain — a simple fix. But left alone the water will reach your flooring and cabinets, so it's worth handling quickly.
Yes. We service standard, side-by-side, French door, counter-depth and built-in refrigerators from all major brands.
